Hotel overlooked the courtyard and the room was very well decorated and a nice size. I greatly enjoyed the room and its tasteful decor. The venue had exceptionally nice location so close to sightseeing and restaurants and a quiet square near the happening restaurants and 5 minutes walk from San Marco and Rialto. I was surprised at nearby Marmi's Cafe, they had some goodies, drinks.

The hotel is a good value and has a great location. However mosquitos were bad and there was nothing done. The staff were helpful and nice but did not seem to communicate to each other - I had an issue over the booking of a water taxi to the airport - asked one person at the desk who assured me he would take care of this but later on when I asked a different desk person they had no clue if it had been done and scared me when he doubted I could get one for the early hour I needed - which he didn't quite seem to believe. Lastly there is no elevator so I was left to haul my suitcase up 2 flights of stairs. I can do it, but assistance wasn't even offered. I have to wonder if help is offered to others to might appear less capable? Oh and please get real towels- what you have seem more like tablecloths and are about as absorbent :( Despite these things the hotel is clean, serves a nice small breakfast with delicious croissants marmalata and has a fantastic location mere minutes from the Rialto Bridge. So I might stay again, but bring a can of Deepwoods Off and my own towel.

Good location, very basic facilities but clean. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful (eg hairdryer not in room but provided on request).
Not suitable if you are planning to spend a lot of time in the room.

The location was excellent - just a few minutes from the Rialto Bridge and the water bus stop. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious - the room only had 4 tables but you could take a tray to your room.
